She loves equipping leaders with the latest research and insights to effectively lead, retain and engage their people through the content she writes.
Catherine has worked in several HR roles including HR business partnering for top ASX listed firms for over 10 years, before specialising in HR content writing.
Joe Murphy
Director, Workplace Relations

Joe Murphy has specialised in employment and industrial matters for both private and public sector clients since 2001. He provides clients with strategic advice on discrimination, unfair dismissal, bullying, general protections (including adverse action), harassment and contractual issues.

With more than 15 years’ experience in litigation, Joe has represented clients in a range of tribunals and courts, including Fair Work Australia, the NSW Industrial Relations Commission, the Australian Human Rights Commission, the Administrative Decisions Tribunal of NSW, the Supreme Court of NSW & Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and Federal Magistrate’s Court.
Fiona Corbett
National Manager, Workplace Advice Unit

Fiona Corbett worked as an Industrial Relations Advisor with the Federal Government prior to joining the NSW Business Chamber in 2007. She has managed the Workplace Advice Unit since June 2010.

National manager for the Workplace Advice Line, Fiona and her team look after more than 20,000 cases each year, advising on a variety of workplace issues for businesses of all sizes. 

Fiona combines significant business experience from owning and operating a successful family business for over 20 years, with a number of years HR management experience gained in Sydney law firms.

Fiona has a long standing interest in industrial relations and enjoys the challenge of working with a diverse range of businesses to find solutions to their employment issues. Her broad range of experience and tertiary study in Human Resource Management ensure members receive advice tailored to suit their business needs.
Phillip Parisis
